News for Those Who Think They Don’t Dance

The evolution between any two organisms has been described as a dance. When Fred Astaire went forward, Ginger Rogers went back--each one adapting to the changes produced by the other. Of course, from the standpoint of Fred or Ginger, there was no movement. They always looked the same to each other no matter where they went. This sort of notion can be applied to every pairing of entities. The cat dances with the mouse, the rabbit and prairie dog dance together as well.
In politics, progressives and conservatives are locked in this same sort of dance. Any change on the left brings a responsive change on the right. Any change on the right changes the left.
The right always looks the same to the left, and so on.
